Founded in 2017, Flex Fuzion is The Gambia’s leading performing arts institution, empowering youth and women through dance, music, theatre, cultural education and creative entrepreneurship.
We provide professional training, cultural performances, tourism experiences and community development programmes that preserve heritage, nurture talent and create pathways for leadership, employment and artistic excellence.
Through local and international partnerships, Flex Fuzion has represented The Gambia at major festivals, championships and cultural exchange programmes across Africa, Asia and the Middle East showcasing Gambian culture while creating opportunities for the next generation of creative leaders.
Today, Flex Fuzion serves as a hub for performing arts education, cultural tourism, international collaboration and social impact, connecting culture, creativity and community development under one dynamic movement.

2013 – Afriq Divas Established
Founded The Gambia’s pioneering all-female performing ensemble to promote women’s leadership and participation in the creative industries.
2017 – Flex Fuzion Founded
Established one of The Gambia’s leading performing arts institutions dedicated to youth empowerment, cultural preservation and creative entrepreneurship.
2018 – National Dance Championship Launched
Introduced The Gambia’s first national dance championship, creating a platform for artistic excellence and talent development.
2019 – Performing Arts Entrepreneurship Programme Introduced
Launched The Gambia’s first performing arts entrepreneurship programme, equipping artists with business and income generation skills.
2023 – Performing Arts Curriculum Development & Pilot
Contributed to the development and piloting of The Gambia’s first diploma in performing arts curriculum, advancing formal recognition of arts education.
2020 – UNESCO ResiliArts & Leadership Dialogue
Hosted a continental dialogue connecting young African arts leaders during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2021 – Peacebuilding Through the Arts Initiative
Implemented a UN-supported programme using artistic expression to promote social cohesion and community engagement in rural Gambia.
2025 – Perreh-Bi Festival Established
Launched a multidisciplinary cultural festival promoting domestic tourism, sports, gastronomy, entrepreneurship and cultural heritage.
2026 – JALIYAA Cultural Tourism Experiences
Developed immersive cultural tourism experiences connecting visitors with Gambian music, dance, storytelling and heritage.
2024 – International Expansion & Cultural Diplomacy
Represented The Gambia through performances, championships and cultural exchange programmes in China, Senegal, Russia, Poland and the United Arab Emirates.
